Hello you Dancers
I have a dance opportunity. A friend of Danielle's Amy Vickerman is looking for four dance couples for an event on May 6Th, 7-10PM at the Loews's Hotel Coronado. A Big Band will be playing and free dinner and drinks will be provided to the couples. The couples need to dress in USO/40's vintage dress. San Diego is entertaining convention organizers trying draw more conventions to the city.

 Peter Flahiff, house DJ at the famous Atomic Ballroom and all-around great guy, is driving down all the way from OC to be our special guest DJ this Thursday. Peter actually called me last week asking to DJ, because he loves the Firehouse (...and the Firehouse loves him back). Since he's driving all this way, he'll be DJing the "primetime" slot from 10-11p (and dancing the rest of the time). So stop on by and get a taste of Atomic right here in SD!

Leads needed for Tuesday night adult education dance class in Encinitas
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Men are needed because there are too many follows without leads (about 30). It is FREE for these leads.
They will be teaching Samba, Jitterbug, Night club two step.
Oakcrest School

Looking for something fun to do this Friday, but your weekly student budget is down to zero...then look no further. As a former "starving student", I know what it's like to have to choose between going out dancing and eating your next meal. So this Friday, Apr. 21st, I invite all "starving students" (under 21) to come out to the Firehouse to dance for FREE. Just print out this a copy of this post and bring your valid student ID and you get into the dance & the lesson for FREE...it's that simple!
